Last few weeks were super cool and busy. Days are flying, not even running!

Anyways, There was Astrid's(Rotary exchange student from Norway) Birthday Party on 17th of April and we had b'day party in Summerland. So, Corinna( Rotary exchange student from Germany) was in Penticton, befroe time. Corinna, Cotii and I went to the mall and did some shopping together and used my New Camera.

16th of April, Friday was my host sister's Dance performance in Kelowna. They do Belley Dancing!

11th of April was Outbound Orientation in Narmata. It was really good and we had so much fun. But at the same time, we were kind of sad too. Because we had talk about how much different it's gonna be, when we will go back. How much we'll miss Canada! and evrything about going back, which make everyone sad.

We went for Bowling and got a group picture, outside of the Sandman Hotel. (The hotel where we all exchange met first time).

Last weekend was a dinner at my host Garand mom's house. I got some really good pictures with my host mom, host sisters. Grandma and Grandpa. On Sunday, we went to Narmata. There a cotage of my host family there. I went for PADDLING with my host Grandma. OMG, it was awesome. I loved it.

I can't wait for the Bus trip, that coming up in May.

My Birthday Party

Lost of stuff was going aroung in last couple of weeks. It was my birthday on 23rd of March and I had b'day party on 20th of March. I invited aroung 13th of my school and rotary friends. Then I had trip to Victoria from 24th March to 27th of March. It was way to much fun. I loved it.

We went to Vancouver Island, Port Alberni and then Victoria.

We leave Penticton and on our way to Port Vancouver Island, we stopped at 1 high school and gave performance. Then we took Ferri from Vancouver to vancouver Island.

In Victoria, we went to 1 church and that church was perfect for Choir to sing. It sound wonderful when we sang. We felt like, we are the best singers in the world. The wall of Church was so good and we got perfect echo back, when we sang. Then we went to see the concert of Belley Dance. It was really awesome.We also went to the Long Beach, on our way from Port Alberni to Victoria. We had so much fun during the whole trip.

I moved to my 3rd host family on 28th of March. The family is really nice.

Well, I haven't upload something from long time. But there was nothing interesting going on. Right now, Spring break is going. So no school for 2 weeks.

Last week, I went to Vancouver with Jean and Denise Jacobson and Cotii. We had so much fun there. Vancouver is such an amazing city. As I'm in Penticton from last 7 months and it's less people city. So when I reached to Vancouver, I felt quite weird about lots of people around. We did lots of thing there and visited lots of places. We went to Granville Island, Metro town, North Vancouver, most exciting thing; we went to the opening ceremony of Paralympics. We went to Robson street for shopping, did Zipling (it was so awesome). We also went to Stanley Park. It's sp pretty. The place we visited in Vancouver was the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge.

Then we went to visit Denise's dad and came back to Penticton on Saturday Night.

There was a Rotary trip on 12-13-14 th of February. It was such a wonderful weekend.That trip was for all inbound, outbound and some rebound students. My club president Denisse and his wife and my club IYE counseler Jean drived me, Cotii, Daneila and Misha(outbound students for my district here) and Kelsey(rebound student and my host sister).
We leaved at 9 a.m. on 12th and reached to Revelstoke around 3 in the afternoon. Then we met other exchange students there and talked a lot. we were waiting for the bus from USA. Which was with about 30 students. They came around 6 in the evening. Then we all had dinner and some free time. Then we played lots of games and it was so well organized and so much fun. Then the party was started. DANCE PARTY. We danced like after so long. It was awesome. We went to bed at 4 in the morning and woke up at 7 in the morning. After breakfast, we had some free time and outbound students had session.Then after launch, we went for tubing. OMG, tubing was the best part of the trip. They don't have real tubing thing. So they made one, and then we walked there. But it was really great. In 1 tube, where only 2 people can go, we went 8 in that tube.Ha ha ha. We also made tubing train. and almost at the bottom, when the people from 1st tube fell down, everybody fell down. Ha ha ha.
Revelstoke club gave everyone a sweater and everyone signed on eachother's sweater. On Saturday, we danced a lot and didn't sleep at all.
On Sunday morning, after breakfast, we lived at 8:15. The car started at 8:15 and everyone was already sleeping at 8:30.Ha ha ha.
Rotary Youth Exchange is more fun when you have trips around. The other best part of the Revelstoke trip was, we got all the information about our bus trip in May. Everyone is so happy.

I had great days and lots of good memories in last 2 weeks. I can't believe it's February already. I still remember my first day, week and month perfectly. But anyways, I'm having good times almost everyday. Accept I'm home sick sometimes. My host dad told his friends that I'm homesick almost everyday at supper time. Ha ha ha. because of the Indian food.

On Monday, I went to the Olympic torch celebration. It was fun. i got a photo with Olympic torch. Then(Cotii,me and Kim) went to the mall for no reason.Ha ha ha.

On Wednesday, Marietta came to Penticton and Cotii, Astrid, Marietta and me spent some time together. Astrid and Cotii came to my house in afternoon and we were in hot tub. Then Marietta came and we went to the mall and then to the Starbucks.We tried to take a picture of us together in really small booth( I don't know what it's call). We were crazy, because we knew that we won't be able to adjust but still we tried and we got every one's eyes only.Ha ha ha. But whenever we will look at that photo, we will laugh on our selves.

I spent weekend(30-31st Jan) with Cotii and Marietta in Apex and then we three went to Oliver to stay overnight at Marietta's place on Friday. On Saturday we went to Osoyoos to stay overnight at Corinna's place. It was so much fun. We watched a movie called "The Hangover". OMG...It was 1 of the funniest movie I have ever seen. The best part of the movie was ,'there is a tiger in the washroom'. It was the funniest moment ever. Cotii and I laughed so hard. Marietta and Corinna had already watched it. We went to Tim Hortons for coffee on Saturday. Then we went to the park in Osoyoos and had so much so much fun, and also took lots of photos. Then we went for ice skating. It was my first time, but I guess I was good because I know roller skating. Corinna's 1 school friend was also there with us. She joined us everywhere.

Then the regular week in school and on weekend, on Saturday, I went for movie with Cotii. It's called "Dear John". It was good and emotional love story. On sunday, i just slept in and talk with my 1 Indian friend.

Today, I took 1 movie DVD from Penticton Public Library. The movie called "My sister's keeper". It was a good movie and really well acted. I cried at the end and also during the movie. The movie is about 2 sisters and 1 brother and 1 sister has Cancer. But I really liked the story.

My Sister

I don't know what to write...But I wanna tell my Father, Mother and Sister and also my whole family that it's your great decision to send me in this exchange programme. I don't know that what important things I'm learning here, but sometimes I realize that I'm learning a lot, now I know the value of my parents and my sister in my life.

Mother:-

I fought with my mom everyday when I was in India and I'll fight again when I'll go back. But may be the way will be different. May be mom will win in our fight, because every time I won in the fight. Now I know the value of my mother, so may be she will win SOMETIMES. Ha ha ha.
The food that she makes, is wonderful. I never realize that I was having the best food at my house made by my mother. Whenever she makes a new dish; she always call me to taste it.
I'm the taster of my house even I don't know how to cook. Everyday she shout on me about cleaning my room. Clothes and books everywhere, loosing stuff all the time and then I called my mom by asking,"mom, have seen THIS(books,t-shirt,bag etc) somewhere"? and she gives a speech that I'm listening from last 10 years. Now I can repeat her speech about loosing my stuff and clean my room.

Father:-
Everyone says that my father loves Charvi(my sister) more than me and my mom loves me more than anyone else. But on Bombay airport, on 15th of August'09, I realized that it's totally wrong.My father doesn't want my mom to come on airport because she will start crying and I'll feel that I don't wanna go to Canada anymore. But the opposite thing happened. I saw water in father's eyes. He was not crying but his eyes made me accept that he loves me and Charvi equally.
Whenever I buy something expensive here; I never asked my father first, 1st I buy it and then I tell my father and show him in webcame that what I bought. Because in 90% he tell me NO to buy it. But after I show him, he never say anything bad about it. He told me few days ago that I'm not like my mom that I asked him first and then I buy it. Which made me laugh.
Money that he is spending on me in this exchange programme made me so proud to call him as my FATHER. I always had value of y father in my life but this exchange programme made me to have value of the MONEY.

Sister:-
Oh...! Honestly, I never know how important Charvi is, for me. We don't fight everyday, but when we fight, it's always a BIG fight. I love her way to call mom when she thinks that she is not going to win in this fight.Ha ha ha. She always kept my secret as SECRET. She always get so jealous with all the stuff that I do, but she always help me whenever I need her help. I feel scared sometimes to tell her my some secrets, because she is kind of 'typical Indian girl'. Which I love sometimes, but not every time. Anyways, I have lots of lots of things to write about her.
1 day, in skype, she called me, I picked up her phone and suddenly, she started talking about her college without saying HI or something. She said,"oh Devu, as you are not here, I'm not getting good marks for the drawing stuff in my assignment in college". I was laughing so badly.
All photos that she took in our cousin brother and sister's wedding were so good. I'm so glad that she do all this for me. I love my sister a lot more than I used to.

Friends:-
Friends should be the important in your life and my friends are important for me, but not more than my family. When you are not with your friends, you can understand that who is your friends and who is your best friend. I do love my all friends and now I know the difference between friends and best friends. I would love to say thanks to my best friends, for staying in touch with me and friends too.

India:-
I don't know what to feel when I got my tickets for 14th of June to go back. At the very first moment, I got so happy. But at the next moment, I felt that I have only 5 months left in Canada. The biggest dream of my life was to go in exchange. I still remember the December of year 2008, when I filled up the form for long term exchange.Now I'm here and 5 months are over, the 1 semester of the school is over and I got my tickets even, to go back. I feel like time is running so fast. I can not stop the time and no one else can either.I'm not looking forward to go back to India anymore. But I have to.
Anyways, I wanna say thanks from the bottom of my heart to all our family members to stay in touch, send me stuff and always ask about me that how I'm doing.(Masi-masa,Foi-fuva,Mama-mami,all kaka-kaki and all my cousin brother and sister)

I'm not homesick at all that I wrote all this. I wrote it, because I wanted to. I love you all.

Last 2 weeks were pretty busy. So I have lots of thing to write....!
I got tickets for India, so I'm going back on 14th of June. Then I went to watch AVATAR in Penticton theater on Tuesday, and then same weekend I went to watch AVATAR again to Kelowna in 3D. 3D was more fun. I got swim lesson at community center on Friday, I do know how to swim, but I got so slow as I was not swimming from last 2 years. Thank you to my Rotary club for paying my swim lessons. I went for launch with my host dad on Saturday to Indian restaurant here called 'HAVELI'. I had Cholee-Bhature. OMG...It was so good and so yummy.
I would love to go back to India because of FOOD and I would hate and want never go back because of the STUDY. Ha ha ha ha ha. I love study system here.
I got a library card for Penticton City Library (of my own).Then on Tuesday I got new haircut. I'm looking different now. We also had a Guitar performance on that day. I played 1 bollywood song from movie called "3 idiots".On Wednesday, Cotii and I made Pendants out of clay. It was so much fun. We also played with clay Because it was the last week of 1st semester. So there was a lot of clay on the table for recycling.
In last 2 weeks, I watched the whole series of GLEE. It was a T.V. show and then it came on DVD. But it was in 4 different DVD. So it took days to complete it. I went to watch a movie with Cotii's host family. The movie was about 1 French artist and the movie was in French with English subtitles. It was good but sad movie. I don't remember the name.
Friday was the last of 1st semester in school. Pretty sad... because I don't have FOOD and ART class anymore. Next week is gonna be exam week, and then the 2nd semester will start. I have Fashion Design, Drafting, Digital Art, Choir and Guitar in next semester.(NO academic courses at all....ha ha ha)
Today, I went for skiing up to the APEX with Bonny and Bill. They are the Rotarian of my Rotary club here. I got ski lessons from Dr. Grant. He is ski instructor there and also my Guitar teacher. So we already knew each other. I had so much fun up there. Now, I can say that I know how to SKI.(not like the best skier) But definitely better than Vernon, Silver Star. After my ski lesson in afternoon, I went in to the mountain. It was so much good. I was in the clouds and trees around us everywhere with snow. It was so pretty. I was 2000 feet up than I was before(where I was having my ski lessons). Dr. Grant was with me, his job was done but he wanted me to go up there and do the Grandfather's Trail. The Trail was 5 km long and I got so tired after that( obviously ).Anyways Thanks again to my Rotary club for paying my ski lessons money.
I'm really having FUN here and so excited for Revelstoke trip next month.

Things are going well here. It was sad not to be with my family on new year...:(
Anyways, I had fun with my host parents and other Rotarians at Community Center in Penticton on new year night. It was Jonny Reid's concert. It was really fun. I went for shopping again after new year. Things were on sale, so I enjoyed the shopping again...ha ha ha. School started agian from 4th of January. No one was ready for school but still, we have to go. I like that schools are open now. But the thing I don't like is HOMEWORK. Anyways, I'm enjoying school and snow now. There was a snow fall few days ago and the temprature was 0 degree celcius. Then next day was freezing because of the melted snow.
The temprature was -7. It was so cold. In school, in launch time; I went outside with Coti and we took lots of photos in snow. That was fun.
In my art class, we are working on our big and last project of the 1st semister. We are painting the roof in art class. It's call ceiling tiles. Every student paint 1 ceiling tiles. I'm making Ganesh(Indian god) and the symboll of Hindu reliegion 'OM'. I'm really enjoying that.
Yesterday was Coti's birthday party and we had lots of fun. We played some games, Coti cut her b'day cake and open her gifts and she was really happy.I stayed overnight at her home and we chat about our host families.
Anyways, It's new year now.I can't say that I'm going back to India next year anymore. I've only 5 months left. I can't believe it. But in my last 5 months here, I found that to be an exchange student is not easy at all. It's a lot harder than I thought. Hats off to the rebound students who had wonderful exchange year.

I had amazing Christmas...It was the best Christmas ever. We don't celebrate Christmas like this in India.So it was my 1st Canadian Christmas and honestly, I just love it. I got lots of gifts.A LOT.

On Christmas eve, I mean on 24th, we went to my host dad's friend's party. It was open house.That was fun.Then after we came back, my host mom and dad showed me my Christmas stoking. my host mom made it for me. They told me that Santa will come at night at he will make it full with chocolates and gifts.

Next morning, everyone woke up and got ready for Christmas.All gifts were under the Christmas tree.We started to open it one by one.That was so much fun.Then I took some photos with my host family and with my gifts.
On 26th and 27th I went for shopping with my host dad, because everything was on sale.I bought 2 new t-shirt and 1 new dress.OMG .... That dress is so good. I love that dress..I don't know where I'm going to wear it, but it is wonderful dress and it's Purple...My favourite colour.

I'm having Christmas vacation now. But I got sick for 2 days.It was my 1st cold after I come here.I always get cold and sometimes cough, but not here.Anyways, I'm fine now.
We got X-Mas holidays for 2 weeks.So no school for 2 weeks.On 15th of December, it was X-mas party in Rotary and I loved it. because I got amazing X-mas present. I got money and from that money, I bought a new i-Pod touch.OMG ... I'm so happy now.
On Friday, We went to my host father's friend's X-mas party and I met Judy there.Judy is going to India on 6th December for 4 months. Just to visit India. OMG...I was so excited to tell her everything and she was so excited to listen. I told her lots of stuff about India and then on Monday, she we went for dinner and talked about India, India and India.Ha ha ha. Probably she is going to Surat too.
Last Sunday, I went to Kelowna with my host father and host brother.We went to the shopping mall there and then to the swimming pool. It was new one with all water rides. That was really fun. There will more fun if all exchange students will go there together.
3 days ago, I wrapped X-mas gifts for Rotarians and specially for Robert.Yesterday and day before yesterday, I went to all of their houses with my host dad and gave them gifts. That was fun actually.Ha ha ha....Because Robert smiled in the photo.
In the last week of school, no one was studying.On the last 3rd day, we went to the old people's house(I'm sorry ...I don't know what it's call) from my guitar class and everyone played a X-mas song for those old people. Then we took a group photo there.My guitar class is totaly international class. Because there are students from India( obviously,me), Argentina, Japan, Germany, China and I think Brazil too an obviously Canadian.
I also made a clay box in my pottery class and I put I love Canada on top. It looks so good.
I think I'm ready for Christmas now and so excited for my 1st Canadian Christmas.

I moved to my 2ND host family called Reid family, last weekend.They are Rotarian and really like here.Last week was super busy.Because I moved to my 2nd host family and same day was Marietta's birthday party in Oliver.It as her surprise birthday party.OMG....She was totally shocked after seeing us.I love surprises too.She was so happy.
Then after I came back from Oliver my host family and I talked about first night questions on Sunday.There were 40 questions.Then on Monday in choir class,we decorate the Christmas tree.That was a lot of fun.Then from Tuesday I was going to Theatre at community center with my theatre group in school.On Tuesday the practice was from 8 in the morning to 8 in the night.Such a long and busy day but we had lots of fun.On Wednesday,It was performance at 11 in the morning.Kids from 7 different school came to watch it and actually it was dress rehearsal .'The Grinch' is pretty famous here.We had break from 1 to 2:30.Then we stater practicing again.At 8 everything was done.On Thursday morning again at theatre at 8.We performed morning show at 10.It was pretty good.So we got break from 12 to 5 from teacher.Ha ha ha.
On Thursday evening at 7 was our first opening show.It was wonderful.On Friday I was stage crew in morning show.I think stage crew is more fun.Th sow was finish at 12 and then my host dad came to pick me up at 12:15 and he drop me at school.Then Coti and I went to school's parking area.Because we were going to Vernon.OMG it was such a wonderful weekend with all other Rotary students in snow.I learn how to ski.It was rally fun.On Friday evening we did tubing in snow.Awesome thing ever.We went to hot tub on Friday evening.On Saturday morning we learn how to ski and in afternoon we did by skiing our selves.I fell down for 3 times when I was learning it.Ha ha ha.n Saturday evening after dinner, Santa clause came.We had to bring gifts. We put all gifts on 1 table and then Santa gave us gift 1 by 1. Lots of fun. He made some jokes too. Then we went to watch movie called 'The Transformer'. Such a stupid, long and boaring movie.Then we went to our hotel. We did some chatting and some other girls made popcorn and coffe and we atched moovie called 'Scary movie part 3' in room.It was actually suit, so all girls were in 1 suit.That movie was the unniest scray movie I have ever seen.Aftre movie, we did some more chatting and went to bed around 2 in the morning.Everyone was so tired.I lost my voice, because of snow, shouting and chatting.I'm feeling so weird right now, because I can't speak actually.We came back on Sunday morning.It was such a ood time in Vernon.I can't wait for next Rotary weekend in February.I'm so happy but terribly tired.

I'm really having fun here and not missing India anymore.But don't worry,it doesn't mean that I don't wanna come back.Last week was super busy and lots of fun.Honestly I don't remember that what I did,but I can write from the photos.So its a good habit to take photos.
On Monday,after school I went to Safeway to post some cards to India and then I made made eggkari at home for my host family.On Tuesday,I had theater after school and we are really having fun now.Our act -The Grinch from pen high students is getting so famous here.Everyone wants to watch it and kids are so excited.
On Wednesday I had pottery club after school and Coti and I are making a box.We paint it on Wednesday and it will get fire and then we will get it.
On Thursday I had theater again.We are practicing a lot to make it perfect.
On Friday,I made double chocolate chip cookies for party next day.
On Saturday I gave Dinner Party to my all international friends.OMG...It was awesome.We had lots of lots of lots of fun.My all international friends here from Japan,France,Argentina,Norway,Germany,Thailand,China and afcourse Canada.We played 1 Christmas gift game,decorate cookies(we also put sugar cream on each other face),did dance,dark room game, and after boys went to their house,we girls played 1 questionary game and asked all funny and personal questions....ha ha ha
We also watched 1 movie called Rate Race.We went to bed around 3 in the morning.OMG....we all were so tired.My host mom woke up us at 9:30 and made breakfast for all of us.Thank you MOM.After breakfast,we started cleaning up and then we started dancing again.Crazy girls.ha ha ha. Then everyone started going back to home around 11:30.After everyone gone,I took shower and got ready for school, for theater practice.Sunday's practice time was long.It was from 1 p.m to till 7 p.m.Miss Rutherford-my theater teacher bought dinner for everyone.It was so good.After I came back,I was so tired.I went to bed around 9 p.m.
But it was such a good weekend.It was my last weekend in my 1st host family.
I'm moving to my 2nd host family next weekend.That will be so hard.I'm use to for all the stuff here and not its time to move.But its just the way t works.I have to accept....:(

I had a great week.My host mom was in Hawaii,USA for work.So I was with Esson family for about 10 days.I really enjoy there.I came to my home on 17th and I also had theater on that day,after school.I took out my all luggage from my bag...(actually I hate to move because you have to pack your bags and then you have to unpack it.:D)

On Monday,We took some photos in school,because 3 exchange girls(not Rotary exchange) are going back to Japan in 1st week of December.So we took some photos with other exchange students in school too.We all were so sad that they are leaving soon.

On 18th,after school,I had Pottery club.So Coti and I made a clay box and wrote "I love Canada" on it.That was really fun.I made a statue from plaster of paris and my teacher put all the statues from class in the common area in school.So everyone can know that what are we doing in art class.

On thursday,I had theater again after school and I actually enjoyed it.On friday,after school I went to Coti's home.Because my host mom and my host sister were going to the concert.I went to watch Hocky game with Coti and her host family.We went to watch Coti's host sister's hocky match.Then we took dineer and watch movies.We strated chatting after movies and the time was about 2 in the morning..ha ha ha...

Next day we woke up at 11 in the morning.We took breakfast and watch another movie called "Polar Express".It was about Christmas.

Then we decided to watch New Moon movie in theatre.OMG>>> It is so famous here.I watched Twilight before and it was amazing.New moon was also amazing.When the next series of twilight will come out,I'll be in India.

Anyways,Then Coti stay overnight at my home.We actually chat a lot with my host sister,Kelsey.Then we went to bed around 2 in the morning.We woke up at 9:30 today.

Then my host mom give us ride to 1 Rotarian's home.Her name is Bonny.She invited us to her home to do some art work,because she is such a good artist.We made some cards by using WAX and IRON.That was really lots of fun...Cards looks so good.We made around 5 cards in 1 hour.Then she drive us back to my home and then we went for shopping with my host mom and Kelsey. I bought winter shoes today.Super expensive but I had to buy.I also bought Canadian flag for my blazer and 1 packet of candies for Christmas.It's part of Canadian culture.That candies packet is called 'Advent Calender'.

Then after we came back to home we watched 1 movie called 'Something Gotta Give'.Nice one.

I'm really getting so busy here and honestly,I really like it.Because if you start getting busy then you will not be home sick at all.

11th of November is Remembrance Day here.There was a ceremony in school on 10th of November,because 11th is holiday.We sang Canadian national anthem and Danny boy song in school ceremony as choir students.It was really good.

I made Indian food on last Sunday and my host really liked it.I was so happy.I also made chocolate cookies & my host dad-Ean Esson helped to make it.

I had Theater group on tuesday and thursday till 7:30 in the evening and on wednesday there was no school but still I had theater group in afternoon.But that was fun.

I did nothing on Friday.But it was a special day,because it was my 1st snow.I woke at 7 in the moening and I saw outside and it was snowing.OMG>>>I was so happy but it was really cool.Obviously....ha ha ha

Day before yesterday I went to Oliver,to attend Marietta's host sister-Veida's birthday party.She turned over 15th and its a big celebration in their religion.

I went to church with Marietta's host family on Saturday before the party time.The party was started at 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.1st Veida danced with her father and god father.Its the thing which they have to do when they give their 15th birthday party.Then we took dinner and then the real party was start.On birthday cake,they write QUINCEANERA 15.Its Spanish.

OMG...The party was a lot of fun.We danced for 3 hours and it was crazzy.

I stayed overnight there and I came back today.

This week was not so interesting.I was quite sad,so I didn't use computer for 4 days.I don't wanna write here.But I'm fine now.So it's OK.

Anyways on Monday,after school;I went to my art class and completed my Plaster of Paris Statue.Photo here is before it was completed.I'll take the photo of actual statue soon.It looks good now.I'm happy with that.Now we are working on making a BOOK.I'm so excited for that.I have already decided that what I will do with it.In portray club,I made kind of pot on wheel.That was fun.I'm enjoying my theater and portray club after school.

I gave guitar performance on Tuesday,but I forgot to take my camera with me.So I don't have photo.I played a song-'Tum Se hi din ho ta hai' song from 'Jab we met' movie.I was so nervous but I played it.yeeee....!I made Rotary International symbol from clay.At back side I wrote information.That was my gift to Rotary club.Everyone liked it.I'm glad that everyone liked it.When I gave it to my club president in front of club 1 Rotarian took picture but it's in club's camera.So I have to wait still I get it back.On Wednesday I had portray club and Coti has also joined it.So we both are enjoying that together.After that we went to to pet's doctor because new kitty at our home quite sick right now.So my host mom picked me up from school and then my h.mom,h.sister and I went to doctor.

I had theater on Thursday and it was fun.At night we went for movie.It was Mikel Jackson's movie called 'That Is It'.It was really good.During the week I made 2 colourful pages to stick in my locker.I'll take picture and put it here soon.

Yesterday,my host mom went to USA for work for 10 days.So I moved in another host family for 10 days.I had nothing to do yesterday.So I paint my nails.ha ha ha...:)

It was really very busy week.I didn't get time to update my blog.

Anyways,last saturday I went to Okanagan Hindu Temple at summerland for Diwali celebration and it it was awesome.I was feeling that I'm in India for 2 hours.All Indians around me,spicy tasty Indian food,Ladies in sarees and crakers.OMG...I really enjoyed a lot.Then on sunday,I did nothing and took rest.

Then from Monday asuseall school starts and I started getting busy.On Monday after school I went to my art class and did some art work.Then on Tuesday After school I have theater group in school.I took theaterd group in school when I choose my courses before school gets started.But the funny and honestly the e-responsible thing is that I didnt know that when my theater group class started.I asked to my friends in school in my 1st week in school that do you know when the theater group will start and they said that you can hear the announcement,because its hard hard to say that on which and when it will start,so I was waiting for the announcement;but whenever the announcement comes,it's always noise around me so I cant hear it clearly and then I forgot about my theater group.After 2 months I suddenly remeber that I have t change my courses of 2nd semister.So took out the page of the semister from my locker and I found that I OMG... I have theater group.I ran to the counseler office and i asked what should I do now?They told me to go to my theater teacher and ask her,because I was missing class from 2 months.I was so scared.But my teacher is so good and she said it happens,it's ok.You can still participate in the drama.We performing 'The Grinch' in December.I'm so excited.So now,I have theatre group after school on every tuesday and thursday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and from last week I joined clay art class and it's on every wednesday after school from 3 to 5 p.m.

On tuesday and wednesday I was with my 3rd host family,because my host mom went to vancouver for work.I had lots of fun with them.We did pumpkin carving on tuesday evening and on wednesday evening I came back to my house.On wednesday we made Thai dish in food class and I think it was good.I complete my my work which I was doing after school at my art class on wednesday.It's surprise gift my Rotary club here.I told them that I'll give a gift to Rotary club for Diwali but I need some time to make it because when I decided that I'll give this,it was the day before of Diwali.So it was impossible to make in 1 day.On thursady,I had theater group and we worked on 'The Grinch' ,that was fun.I really like it.OMG>>> on friday,I went to community centre here and I was volunteer there.3 Japanese girls from my school were also there.We worked at same booth there.There was lots of fun and it made me so tired too.We have to teach kids how to play the game which is at our booth.There were lots of kids,volunteer and around 28 booths.We had pizza in dinner there and all volunteer got a bag of candies.I was so happy.On friday,in school;every one dressed up and it was so colourful and funny everywhere.There was a costume competition in the common area of the school in break time.Some boys became girls and that was so fuuny.Coti and I took lots of pictures in school with all our school friends in their funny costumes.

On saturday,I went to Oliver to Marietta's(Rotary exchange student from France) home.Oliver is half an hour away from here and also from USA border.It's the samll town.I went there to celebrate Helloween,OMG>>> It was amazing.I became and Marietta became vampire an angel.We were just like a kid yesterday.In Halloween,kids to go to different houses,they knock the door and people give them candies.After knocking the door kids says:Trick or Treat.

That was really fun.Marietta & I were running on the road and her host sister and her friends were also there with us.I had an excellent Halloween.Marietta,her host sister and I;we all together watched scary movie called '30 days of night' at night...ha ha ha.It was really really scary.We also watched 'High school musical 3'.I love High School Musical movies.Then today,in the morning we watched movie called 'Forgotten'.Then my host mom came to pick me up at 2:30 in the afternoon and I'm back to home now.

I apologize to those people who are reading my blog but I didn't update it from last 1 week.But I was really very busy.

Days are going preety well here.There was a pumpkin carving party at my home here.My host invited her all friends and we did pumpkin carving.OMG>>>There was a lot of fun.Pumpkins are SO famous here.

Yestarday, I watched bollywood movie.After so long...Anyways,it was preety good.I made bundi chat for my host mom's friends.My host mom loved it.Because my host mom and I are the great lovers of the spices.ha ha ha...

On tuesday,in Rotary meeting I gave very very little speech (you cant say even speech) on DIWALI.I weard Indian dress on that day.I gave a packet of bindies to evry lady in Rotary but I had nothing to give to gentle man.But I'll give a gift to my rotary club very soon.I made it in my art class.

There was a choir perfomance on wednesday at community centre here.OMG>>>It was so good.We really enjoyed a lot. I have choir as a course in school,so I particpated in concert.We sang the "We rise again"song.I love that song.

Hyejin is on the way to Korea.Her flight was today.at 9:30 in the morning.Yesterday was her last day here.We all watched movie together and went to bed at around 11:45.We all woke up at 7:30 in the morning and went to airport.Then from airport we went to wallmart and did some shopping.After came back I moved my all staff to Hyejin's room and Kelsey put her all staff in her room back.Then we went to IGA-Market place,to buy some food things.Outside of the market place they were selling hot dog,so my host mom,host sister and I ate those.I ate vegge hotdog. 1 cowboy singer was also there and Kelsey and I took picture with her. Then we went to buy new kitty.OMG>>>There are already 2 cats and 1 dog is here and now 1 more kitty.But she is so friendly and cute.We bought it and we will get it on Thursday.I actually like cats more then dogs.

Anyways,I'm going to Diwali celebration at Okanagan Hindu Temple today.I'm so excited for that.

Last week was so busy week and weekend was amazing.We 5 girls(all are rotary exchange students) met to cotti's home on saturday and stay overnight there.We all 5 were from different countries.

It was completly international.OMG>>>It was so good,amazing,awesome,superb.ha ha ha....We enjoyed a lot.We did some funny staff and lots of chatting.Corrina came to my home on friday and she stayed overnight at my home.We watched 'Twilight'(such a wonderful movie) and 'Propasal'(it was quite funny).We both went to bed at 1:30 in the morning.Then next day around 11 in the morning Mrietta came to my home.She is staying in Oliver,which is around half an hour away from here.Corrina came earlier because her host mom was coming to Penticton on friday evening for shopping.Corrina and I ate Burgers in supper on friday and we also made chocolate muffens.After Marietta came we started chatting.Then I was packing my bag because I was at esson's family and on sunday I was suppose to go back to my host family.When I was packing my bag,I found Mehndi(Hena) cone.Corrina and Marietta both wanted to put it.So I put Mehndi in their hand.They had never get these before.
Then we started to make our hair straight by mine and Marietta's hair straightner.That was fun.Then we made egg sandwich and ate that with chips.Around 4 in the evening we went my host family's home.My host mom was back from Vancouver.I put my suitcase back in my room and took a small one and then Ian drived 3 of us to Summerland at Cotti's home.Cotti's home is so big and preety.We all liked her house.We started chatting again.Then we paint our nails by different colours of nail polish.We paint each other nails.ha ha ha....There was fun.But when we took picture of our nails together,it looked so colourful.

Then we started watching movies.We watched 2 movies and both were sad movies.1 was "The Notebook"(superb love story).I watched it before too,and another one's name I dont remeber but it was similar ti twilight but the end of the movie was different totaly stupid end.Just like 1 bollywood movie-'Sawariya'.

After movies over,we went upstairs and ate the dessert which Astrid brought with her.Then we started chatting again and took some funny pictures.We 5 slept on the bed and took pictures and then we jumped from the bed to couch.ha ha ha....That was really fun.

Then we made star by joining our fingers and we were 5,so we got a real star.Then we played 1 game of questions.We all wrote 2 or 3 questions and then we mixed it and enyone pick up the question and answer that.We all asked such a stupid questions but thats why we enjoyed that.

We went to bed at 4:30 in te morning.Ha ha ha...I know it was late but we were enjoying.We woke up 9 in the morning because my host was coming to pick me up at 9:30 or 9:45.On breakfast tacle we wrote our names,countries and I wrote everyone's name in Hindi and Gujarati.Then I went to Vernon with my host family and haejin.

I really enjoyed there.Some funny pumpkin statues were there.I took lots of pictures of them and mine with them.We travelled in kind of trainor bus(I dont know what it's call) and went to the farm.We pick up 1 pumpkin.OMG>>>There were so many pumpkins there.Everyone took 1 pumpkin and then we went back to the place.Haejin and I took lots of pictures of each other with those funny pumpkins.There was 1 statue on which Canada is written and there was a whole at the face, I put my face there and took picture.Then we went to Kelowna and had supper at my host om;s one cousin's home.We ordered pizza from Dominoes.I love pizza.We were in Penticton at 7 in the evening.I was so tired and feeling so sleepy.

It was my mom's birthday and New year in India on 19Th.So I talked with my family on skype.Then I went to bed at 9:30.but still in the morning today,I was so tired.I think I'll be fine by tomorrow.

I'm going to wear Indian dress tomorrow in Rotary meeting and will give a little speech about Diwali and New Year.I'm excited for that.

I moved to another family for 1 week because my host mom went to Vancouver for work.She'll back n Saturday and then I'll go back to my first host family.Right now I'm staying with Sussan and Ian's home.They both are Rotarian's.I came here on Saturday afternoon.
The thanks Giving Day was good.As I'm vegetarian I didn't taste Turki(Turki is the main fod of thanks giving).
I have 3 host sisters and 1 host brother in this family.But my only 1 host sister is staying at home.Her name is Glynnis.I went to Kelowna with Glynnis on Sunday to pick up my another host sister called Bonnie for thanks giving day's dinner. Glynnis and I went to the mall of Kelowna and we went to CLARIE'S shop and we took some funny picture with funny staff.That was fun.
Robert and his son were also invited for dinner.My host mom is working with Robert and he is staying very near from my home here.So they are very good friends.
On Monday we were invited for dinner at Robert's home.There was burger and spicy potato salad in dinner.So I enjoyed it.Robert taught me how to cook on barbieque.Then I played kind of video game with his son.There was a lot of fun.The IYE co-chairman of our district was also there.She gave a speech in Rotary on Tuesday.As she is not staying in Penticton She came here on Monday and she joined us at Robert's home for dinner.
On Tuesday there was Rotary meeting early in the morning.Winter makes me more lazy and it's getting cold day by day.So I hate to wake up early, in winter time atleast.
Asuseall I gave 2 min. of speech about my experience here in last week.I went to school.There was no school on Monday because of Thanks giving day.School was pretty good and also today it was good.
I made khimo(Egg Kari) again yesterday for my host family and afcourse for me.We all liked it.I made Dam Aloo(potato sabji) today and it was also good but honestly, not that much.Ha ha ha...

OMG>>> I made Indian food today because I really wanted to eat it.I made KHIMO...Here people can't remember the name so I told them it's egg kari.because it tastes like it and there is egg in that.I just ate it.It was awesome,very good and very very tasty(obviously,I used Indian spices in it).I was feeling like I'm sitting in India and eating it.Big thanks to Amita aunti(my neighbour in India who wrote recipie for me of KHIMA).My mom never eats egg so she doesn't know how to make it but I love her all food too.

Yesterday I went to Rotary meeting.Robert was impressed by me because I was on time when he came to pick me up.Every time he wait at least for 2 minutes but yesterday I was waiting for him.In Rotary,I gave a little speech about my week.I really like it now to give a speech.ha ha ha.

I got marks in my food class and I got 91.62%.Ha ha ha.....Because before I took this course I didn't know how to cook.Not at all.

Yesterday at 7 pm I went to Cafe House to give performance by using Guitar.But as Cotti and I are new for Guitar we just sing a song and 1 boy named Jin played guitar.Jin is from Japan and we gave group performance.I mean Cotti and I were singing and Jin was playing guitar.We sang "Let it be"song.I relly like that song now.

I'm going to stay at Sussan & Ian's(Rotarian's from my club here) home from this Saturday to next Saturday.I mean for 1 week.Because my host mom is going to Vancouver for work.We have no school on this Monday because it's Thanks Giving Day here.It's the big celebration here.It's my first time.So I'll write what it is after I take part in celebration.

I woke up at 9 in the morning yesterday and did some art work.Then I went to the mall of Penticton around 11:30.As Corinna and I (Rotary exchange students from Jermany) had decided that we will meet at mall at 12 in the afternoon we met, and we both were so happy.Corinna is staying in Ossoyus which is around 45 minutes away from Penticton and 5 min. from USA boarder.It is very small town,so she came here to do some shopping and stay over night at my home.Cotti was also suppose to come at the the mall but her host dad was coming to Penticton at 2 in the afternoon.So she met us at 2 at the mall.Then my host mom came to pick up us from the mall.After come back to home Corrina and I showed Cotti that what we bought.She was very jealous.ha ha ha...

We thought that Cotti will also stay over night but she didn't.We were feeling so bad for her.Cotti's host mom has some rules for her home,so she can't.But when she was with us in the afternoon,we had lots of fun.There is a Trampoline outside of my home.So we went there and start jumping and took lots of photos.OMG>>> It was so good.We tried to fall each other but only I was falling down because I had slippers and Cotti and Corinna had shoes.Ha ha ha...

Then we started watching 1 very comedy movie called "Rate Race"( Mr. bean was there in the movie.So obviously it is comedy).It was almost similar to 1 bollywood movie call "Dhamal."

Then around 5 Cotti's host dad came to pick her up.Only half movie was done on that time but she had to go and it was really very comedy so she was like, I want to finish this movie first.After she go we(Corinna and I) finish the movie.Then we started watching Mamma Mia,because I watched it before but Corinna had heard a lot about the but had never seen it and I just love that movie.So we started watching it.We ate Pizza in the dinner during the movie.Then my host mom and Haejin started watching Slumdog Millionaire and we were watching Mamma mia down stairs.After they complete the movie we started watching Slumdog...

We bought balloons from the mall.So me and Corrina made 4 balloons and wrote our names and Cotti's name on it.We took photos with it.As we were missing Cotti we wrote her name on balloon and wrote that we are missing you Cotti.

Then after we finish Slumdog...We started watching "17 Again" movie.I watched it before, but as before, I saw it and Corinna had not seen it before.So we watched it.It was our 4th movie of the day(or night...ha ha ha).When we counted that its the 4th one we started laughing.After that movie finish we started chatting and we went to bed around 3 in the morning.Ha ha ha...

10:15 or something Corinna's host dad call her that I'll be there in an hour or something.So his call woke up us but we slept again then my host mom wake up us again at 10:35 and then we took breakfast and then we she went to her home and I started writing my blog.Ha ha ha...:)

OMG>>> It was so good outside today.I was walking to the school and it was rainy and I saw RAINBOW.It was so beautiful and I love rainbow.
Yesterday I went to Maggi(high school here) for the session of exchange students but there were only 2 students.Day before yesterday I went to Pen high in exchange students information session and there were 7 students.Which was pretty good.
I'm going to see Hockey match again today.Cotti and I got the tickets from our Guitar teacher.Actually one hockey player from the VEES team is staying at his home so he always get some free tickets and as an exchange students he give tickets to both us first.Yeeee.....It's really good to be an exchange students.
This weekend will be busy weekend( I think so) because Corrina(rotary exchange student from Germany) is coming to Penticton tomorrow.Her town is 45 minutes away from here and there are no exchange students in her town.She wants to do some shopping.Cotti and I also wants do some shopping.So we 3 and Corrina's host parents are going together for shopping tomorrow at the mall of Penticton.Then Cotti and Corrina will come to my home stay over night and we will do(kind of) party.We will watch movies and chatting and all that kind of things.
We all are so excited for that.Nothing else to write.

I woke up at 5:30 in the morning today because of the presentation in rotary club today about Navaratri.I got ready in chaniya-choli.Here is the photo(I'm looking fat).But I was looking pretty and beautiful in that.(everyone said in Rotary today).I gave presentation on Navaratri and performed Dodhiyu in a circle and made Rotarian's to do Garba.Everyone did it but it was looking so funny because no one knows how to do that.They were trying to do it but it was not good at all.ha ha ha...

But I'm happy that everyone stood up and tried to do it.My big thanks to my host mom Brenda,Haejin,Cotti(she stayed over night at my home yesterday),Mrs.Hunter and my 3rd host family(specially to my host sisters because they also woke up early for my presentation) and all the Rotarian's.I thanked to my club president and Robert to give me a chance to present this.They also let me to sing my national anthem.So I sang and put the video of Indian national anthem.Some rotations were listening it for the first time.

I put mehndi in Haejin's and Cotti's hand yesterday(also in mine).They both liked it a lot.Here,people call mehandi as Hena.

School is going well now.I like school more day by day.

I'm going to school at 7 p.m. today again.Because it's an introduction session is there for the exchange students.So as an exchange student me and Cotti will give a little speech for 3 or 4 min. about our experience as an exchange students here.

We made Cheese Cookie and Broccoli soup in school yesterday in food class.I took 1 photo when we were making Cheese cookie.Here is the photo.

Today in school there was like birthday party.Mrs.Hunter brought 1 big cake for the students whose birthday was there in September.So 3 students together had cut the cake and we ate cake and drink coca-cola.Ha ha ha.....There was fun in school today.

Day before yesterday I went for the bus trip with all UBC(University of British Columbia)exchange students.We(me and Cotti) enjoyed a lot and took lots of photos,more then 100.

We went to see about how radio was made or something.I just hate science.So for me it was boaring but still we enjoyed.Then we went the place where they were making WHEAT before few years and the man who is working there he taught us about everything related to wheat.Then we went to 1 fruit market which looks so good from the bus only.We didn't go down from the bus because we had no time.Then we went to Summerland and saw the waterfall and took lots of funny pictures there.At 4:15 or something we came back to Penticton.

Then there was dinner and dance party at Okanagan College.OMG>>> It was so good,diiner was also good and there was 1 lady(I'm sorry I forget the name)she taught us 1 dance(I also forget what that dance is called) and we all did it together.

Next day on Sunday I was so tired but I woke up at 7:30 in the morning and went for hayking with my hst mom,Haejin and Gary(my host mom's friend).Here is the photo.We did hayking for 20k.m.I can't believe for my self.Because I had never walk this much before in India.I always use vehicle to go somewhere.Even if it is only 1 k.m.. far.I was so tired after come back but I worked on my project again.

Around 3 in the afternoon I went to my room and lying on he bed but I was so tired so I slept and my host came around 6:30 and she woke me up.That was crazzy but I was feeling better.I took dinner and again worked on my project for Navaratri.I was so busy with that yesterday.That's why I'm writing my blog after 3 days.Nothing else to write.

OMG>>> I'm really very very happy today.Because my interview is in city''s news paper today with mine Cotti's big photo.We are famous now like celebrities.
Yesterday I went to see the Ice hockey match.It was awesome because Penticton vees team won it.ha ha ha...For yesterday's match I got ticket from 1 of the Rotarian who is past president of my club here.and now I got tickets again from my Guitar teacher in school.So I'm going to see Ice Hockey Match again tomorrow with Cotti.
I made RAVA DHOSA(it's 1 south Indian item in food) for dinner.Here is the photo.My host mom told that it's like pan cake.It was so good.First 2 Dhosas were so bad(don't laugh please,I'm learning) but then my host mom add some water and then I got very good one.It was really so good,atleast for me.
I'm going to Belle dancing now.It's so good because they use bollywood songs a lot.Here Belle dancing is totally different then I heard about in India about Indian belley dancing class.But I like it here.

I was really happy today.
I woke up at 6 in the morning today because of Rotary meeting.It was good.I went to school and did my homework in library as I reched early at school today.I took Guitar class.So I'm learning Guitar.Cotti(exchange student from Argentina) took my photo in Guitar class.Here is the photo.We both are learning Guitar for 1st time and we both like it a lot.In art class we found photos from net on which we can do some different work.It's the assignment for students.In English class our teacher gave us our assignment back today and then me Cotti went to library and got copies of national anthem of Canada.Because may be we'll sing it on 29th Sep. when my presentation is there.Cotti is not in my club but I invited her.So she'll come.In food class we made Fruite Salad today.It was very good.Today is the last day of salad.We have test for that tomorrow in food class.
OMG>>> As an exchange students we gave an interview to the city's news paper.Here is the photo which will come in news paper.It was really very very good.They found me Chater Box...(as I'm chater box) We gave a lot information about our exchange programme and all good expereince.
Then after come back to home I started computer.At 7 p.m. Robert(my IYE chairman) came to pick me up and then we went to see my 3rd host family.Here is the photo.I really like them.I have 2 host sisters there.1 is 8 years old and another is 10 years old.They are really very cute host sisters.I'm excited to go there.
It was really nice day.

Long time...

After long time I'm writing my blog.Now I'm writing for 17th,18th,19th,20th and 21st together.
I was feeling homesickness because of food problems.But now I'm ok.I dont like rice a lot and my host mom wanted me to eat the left over rice.I dont like to eat left over food.But now I'm an exchange student.I've sacrifice for everything.I'm trying to get over it.
Then in weekend I went to city library's birthday.I got face painting there.Here is the photo.From there we ( me and Heijen ) my 1 school friend-Bruaine's home.She is really funny.We watched 1 horror movie there called DARKNESS.It was good.After came back from there We made our own suooer because my host mom was busy with her Brazilian friends.I made my last Maggi(noodles which I brought with me from India).Now,I don't have any more packets of Maggi.
Next day on Sunday I woke up at 11:30 in the morning.I did lots of Art work yesterday(sunday).
Made speech of my prsentation which I'll give in Rotary on 29th Sep.I'm trying my BEST to make it Wonderful.
We made Chicken Salad in school today.I didn't eat it as I'm vegetarian.School was good today.I ate Potato and Cheese today in dinner.It was good.Now I'm going to eat Chocolate ice-cream.I just love it.

OMG>>> It's like dreaming...I completed my 1 month here.I didn't get chance to write my blog yesterday.I was busy with my art work.Here are the photos.

There was a Photo Day in school today.Around 7 photographers were there to take photo of the students in common area of the school.Here is the photo.
Yesterday I woke up at 6 in the morning because of Rotary meeting.I gave a short report about my orientation in meeting.Now my club wants me to give short report everyweej abot my days in Canada.
I'm so happy I got permission from my club president to invite my host mom and my school teacher Mrs.Hunter.I'll try my BEST to give an excellent perfomance(presentation).
We made Greek salad yesterday in school in FOOD class.It was good.We'll make Ceser salad tomorrow.
O love India more now because my art teacher is impress with my art work in which I used traditional Indian Mehndi's design.yeeeeeeeee.............!!!
I just love my host mom's trick about killing mosquites.That is really funny.I always laugh on her and she laugh on her self.lol.She tagged my 1 Rotary t-shirt in my room which is with the signature of all exchange students which I got in Orientation.Here is the photo.

Tired day...

I woke up at 7:15 today.I was so tired because of the orintation.On saturday we slept 3:30 in the morning and woke up again 7 in the morning.On sunday i didn't sleep in the day time.So I was tired in the morning today.Evryday I wake up by myself but today my host mom came to wake me up.She dropped me at school.Thanks to mom.Because I was not able to walk.I was feeling so sleepy in school.
A girl from Argentina(Rotary exchange student) is in my school and we are in same class of English.So we were together in launch time.Here is the photo.
Today I forgot to take my i-pod with me to school.I was feeling sleepy and my i-pod was not there with me...It makes me more tired.I also forgot to take water but that was ok because I drank water in school from school's water tab.It was totaly different.
After I come back from school I was writing my journal and lying on the bad.As I was so tired I slept at 4 pm and because of some noise when I woke up it was 5:15.I'm happy about that.Now I'm not tired anymore.
There is Rotary meeting tomorrow(7 in the morning).I'll give a short report about my Orientation Weekend.
Orientation was really very good and I learnt a lot.So I'm that I got chance to give report about that.

I had orientation yesterday and today...OMG>>>Orientation was amazing,awesome,excellent and evrything.

We had lots of fun.

I made so many new friends.Sassions were not so boaring.

Rebound students were excellent.

I met my Indian friend Binisha Mehta after long time.We both were so happy.We weard Indian dree at evening and sang one Indian song in Hindi("sare jahan se arche Hindustan hamara-song") at International night.

We were 4 girls in one room and we all were from different countries.Me from India,1 from France,1 from Ostriya and 1 from canada.She was not an exchange student.

Rotary exchange programme is wonderful.I love Rotary Club.

School was very good today...

Yesterday,I went to hip-hop dance class at evening to see what is hip-hop.It was good.I think I'll join it.

School was very good today.I made cookies today in Food class.Here are the photos.Girl in the photo is my new friend.I took photos before cookies cooked and after it cooked.

In Caffeteria class I learnt how to cut onions,carrot and garlic.That was good.

In art class I drew sucess symbols.My art teacher is very good.She gave us one page on which one sentance was written and we have to drow related to that sentance.Everyone gets the different page so evryone drew different things.Here is the photo.

In English class sir asked me about the tempature and languages in India.Today 1 new student from Argentina(I dont know how to spell) came to our class.So we were comparing tem. of India,Canada and Argentina.Then we learnt 1 short story.It was good and quite funny.

Today,I enjoyed the food class a lot.Actually I just hate cooking but my 2 course out of 4 are related to cooking.I think at the end of my exchange year I would like cook evrything.

Today,I woke at 7 in the morning.Yesterday I cried a lot because I was missing my mom.It was 1st time after I come here but now I'm good.School was very good today.I showed my paintings to my art teacher.She really liked it.In food class teacher taught us hoe to make cookies.We'll make it tomorrow.The taste of cookies was awesome.It was my first day in my new course Caffeteria.That was good.
I made new friends today in launch time and went to library with them after launch.It was good.I took 1 photo there.it's here.
I send an e-mail to my IYE chairman and club president about our festival Navratri and request them to give me chance to give presentation of this festival.I really want to give presentation.I hope they will say yes.
I'm going to attend my first Rotary Orientation this weekend.Binisha-girl from Bhavnagar.She is in my district.So we dicided to wear Indian dress in Orientation.I'm so excited.
I'm really missing Indian festivals.Specially Navratri.I download some photos.Here are 2 photos.

Today,was my 2nd day at school.It was qiute weard.
I woke up at 7 in the morning.My host mom drop me at school.My first class was food class.It was really good.I got my locker today.My new friends from that class showed me hoe to use that,because it was different(for them too).Then teacher told us organise all stuff as wrriten on the all drover.We did that together.It was fun.
My 2nd class was English.It was quite boring.Sir taught grammer point and read Short(actually long) Story.Then 3rd class was Art class.As I liked art and painting,obviously I liked the class.Teacher told to sketch a cookie.She gave one to evryone and we sketched it.
4th and last class was English again.That's different one.This class is only for exchange students.Mrs.Jasmine Hunter is our teacher.She doing this job from so many years.She helps exchange students to understand here and solve their quarries.4 Japanise students were also there.
I asked her about my some grammer quarries which I got in English class.She wanted me to cange the course.She said that it's very hard for exchange students and it's university's level.So I went to main office with her and ask to change my course.She gave me Communication course instead of that and one another course called Çaffeteria.Because my class were adjust by schedule.So that Caffeteria course is in place of English and Communication is in place of English(which Mrs.Hunter is taking).I didnt like the communication class.I attended the half period of that but honestly I didnt enjoy.I'm confused.So,at last I found it was very weard day.
I came back home by walk.It was horribale.Because I didnt walk this much before.I'm vary tired now and missing my mom a lot.

Today,It was my 1st day at school.I woke up 5:45 in the morning for Rotary meeting.I attended the meeting today.I came back to home and packed my bag for school.My host mom came from her work to pick me up from home.She came with me to the Mrs.Hunter's class(my english teacher).My first shock at school was- students were smoking at the entrance gate of the school.That's crazzy(atleast for me).I went twice a time before to the school.So I knew that it's very big.I really liked the school and students.I got my time table today.In 1st semister I took Cooking course,English course and Art course.All were good today.But today the school was for 2 hours only.So,from tomorrow I'll see.After school I went to Main Street(downtown) with my 2-3 friends to take launch.I ate vege sandwich.Which was not so good.Then we went to Shelby's home and watched T.V. there.

Then my mom came to pick me up from Shelby's home.I'm going to make maggi today for dinner.yeee....

From tomorrow I'm going to school by walk.I know thw way from my home to school now.I'm excited...!

Yesterday was quite boaring day because I did nothing.Even I have no photos to put.I dont know how but I woke up at 11:45 in the morning.Then I wrote my blog and me and my mom went to the shop from where I bought my i-pod (its hard to remember the name of the shopes)and give them back the extra earphone.
Then we went to Zappers.My mom bought "some stuff for home and we came back to home.So I had no work to do.So I watched 2 hollywood movies.Then I took dinner and add songs in my i-pod of movie "Mamma Mia".All songs from this movie are awesome.I went to bed around 10:30.
It was boaring day but the lst day of the longest vacation of my life.My school is going to start from today.I'm excited...

Yesterday was very happy day for me.Because I bought shuffle i-pod for my self.I wanted it from the day when I saw it first time( in India ).I'm so happy now for that.I bought it in 55 Can $.

I woke up at 9:30 in the morning yesterday.I took breakfast and wrote the blog and then me and my host mom went to my host mom's 1 friend's home for BBQ.I ate burger there and then fiinally we went to buy my i-pod at 'Wallmart' but shuffle i-pod was not available there.So we orderd for that and I'll get that in 7 days.Then we went to another mall called' ''Staples".Because my host mom wanted to buy a cover of the laptop.We asked for i-pod there and I got it.It was the last one in that mall also.I'm lucky.Then we call to wallmart and cancelled teh order.

After come back I made potato sabji(Indian style again) and also Papad.We all took dinner together-Me,mom,Haejin and Cristina yesterday.I think it's first time after I moved here.Everyone is busy in there work here.

Hey,Yesterday I woke up at 9:30 in the morning.My some friends were online.I chat with them.Then I went for shopping around 1:30 in the afternoon with my host mom-Brenda and Haijen.I bought 1 photo album to put my photos in Canada.My mom wants me to make that album because I made My Sweet Memories album in India.So now I have 1 more thing to do.
My 2 friends( Canadian friends) -Shelby and Lauryn came to my home yesterday to stay overnight.Ohh!It was lots of fun.We watched 2 movies-The Notebook and Hairspray and ate cake and we decorate it by our selves.It was lots of fun.Haijen also joined us.She decoratd cake very well.
After movie complete we chat for an hour about school,India and Canada...That was fun too.My one another friend Monica was also wanted to come but she got back pain.So only 3 were there....But we enjoyed....yeee....

Hocky Match

I went to see Hocky match yesterday.(at 6 in the evening).It was awesome.I really enjoyed it.

The match was between Penticton and Westside.It was too much intersting.Penticton made 7 goals and opposite team made 4 goals.

My IYE chairman Mr.Robert Mowet took me to the game with him.Thanks to him.
